Year 8:- Continue the research on the Periodic Table, add more information and detail to make it extra informative. Year 9:- Produce a poster to show uses of alloys and to show what elements make up different alloys.

Year 7:- Research and produce a poster on different labels used for chemicals draw the labels. Year 8:- Research the different composite materials. Year 9:- Research the properties of different metals and their uses.

Year 8:- Use BBC bitesize to look at different forces read the information then test yourself. Year 9:- Find out about corrosion prevention on large scale structures such as the Eiffel Tower and Forth Road Bridge.

Year 8: – Use BBC bitesize on elements, watch the video on how jewellery uses gold. Year 9:- Find out about the elements sodium and chlorine draw each element to show the number of protons, neutrons and electrons they have.
