|Grab a Book Day 2019
Woolston Brook School have been engrossed in the world of literature this week. Each form has been given different authors to look at and have created book reviews based on these novels.
Form 3HN adored ‘The Bolds’ by Julian Clary and they have asked if there are in this series.

|Roald Dahl Day
Woolston Brook School have enjoyed taking part in Roald Dahl day today. Activity booklets, storybooks and audio stories have been shared throughout the key stages.
|Jeans for Genes Day
Staff and pupils were encouraged to wear jeans in support of ‘Jeans for Genes Day’ 2019 . Pupils made a DNA structure during nurture time. We made £26.
|Hello Yellow: Young Minds Day
The whole school and Governors supported young people’s mental health by wearing yellow and taking part in fun social activities.
|MacMillan Coffee Morning
The these this year was ‘Team Work Makes The Dream Work’. Our community was invited in to take part in our MacMillan Coffee Morning event in the school hall and had the opportunity to visit classrooms and see how team work was being applied.
|International Day of Peace
All tutor groups were encouraged to look at climate action and how we could make a difference for future generations. Discussions took place in tutor groups and feedback from the even was used to inform our ‘Make The Mark’ project.
