|Unilever Bright Futures Programme: This month 3 year 8/9 pupils were chosen to be part of the Bright Futures Programme at Unilever Research and development site in Port Sunlight. Through the Unilever Bright Future Programme, they were immersed in the science and technology behind some of the world’s best loved brands. Port Sunlight is home to Unilever research and development for the past 100 years. |Big Build Competition: Centre Park Link have recently engaged with the Woolston Brook School to encourage more pupils to consider a career within construction. Since Engaging with the school; they wanted to participate in the Honor Goodsite competition to utilise the pupil’s artistic side as well as incorporating sustainability and reusing recycled materials.|

Big Bang North West 2019: 8000 Children Celebrate STEM! On the 2nd of July, The Big Bang North West hit The Exhibition Centre Liverpool.
|Creative & Digital Expo: In the autumn some pupils had the opportunity to attend a Creative and Digital Expo at The Pyramid in Warrington. During the initial presentation they got to hear from employers, colleges and also apprentices who explained the various industry career pathway opportunities.|
|Warrington Vale Royal College visit: Pupils from year 11 visited the College to learn about the various courses and opportunities the college has to offer.|
|Warrington Vale Royal College Catering Taster Day: As part of the careers pathway programme, pupils from years 8-10 have had the experience of college life.|
|Priestley College visit: As part of the Careers Pathway Programme pupils visited Priestley College regarding the Sports Coaching course delivered by SGI Sports Education. Following the tour of the campus and its amazing facilities Joe (Recruitment Manager) talked about the coaching qualifications and the opportunities available throughout the 2 years.|

During the autumn term, LCpl Dave Butler delivered a presentation to years 9, 10s and 11s regarding careers in the British army. The pupils discovered how diverse the job roles were and also the amazing opportunities available to them.
|Fire Brigade (Respect Course)
10 week Respect Course, which provides an insight into work of the Cheshire Fire Service whilst developing team work and leadership skills. from October to December.

|In November, year 8 pupils attended an exciting, interactive ‘Making an IMovie Trailer’ workshop at the Apple Store in the Trafford Centre.|
|As part of the Dallaghlio Rugby partnership pupils had the opportunity take part in an interactive workshop delivered by BT. The staff and trainers talked to the pupils for them to gain an insight into the large number of careers pathways available within BT and the telecoms industry.
