Careers Programme
All students are entitled to careers, work related learning activities and opportunities for post-16 provision. Pupils from year 8 to year 11 will have access to careers guidance and work related experiences throughout their time at school. A careers advisor from ‘Careers for Young People Service’ will manage the transition from Woolston Brook to the designated Post 16 providers (www.careersforyoungpeople.co.uk tel: 01925 442211). As part of the Careers Programme students have an opportunity to attend open evening events and organized careers fairs to enable students to make an informed choice post 16.
Contact Janine Vincent (careers lead) for all matters relating to careers, work related learning and post-16 provision. Parents and employers can contact Janine Vincent regarding pupil careers information. Email: J.Vincent@woolstonbrook.warrington.sch.uk |
