Year 7 Students Organise Festive Disco Extravaganza!
By Mark Cullen and Cath Fowler, updated 1/12/24
Excitement is in the air at our school as two enterprising Year 7 students are taking charge of planning a Christmas disco for all our children! Set to light up the afternoon of Tuesday, 17th December, this event promises to be a delightful festive celebration that no one will want to miss.
Our enthusiastic duo, who shall remain unnamed for now (keeping their mystery alive!), are not just attendees but true masterminds behind the event. They’ve enlisted the help of none other than Amy, our talented DJ, who will be spinning the wheels of steel to ensure we have an unforgettable experience. Both boys are also getting into the festive spirit by preparing their very own DJ sets, which is sure to get everyone grooving!
This festive occasion will feature separate disco sessions for our primary and secondary students, allowing everyone to get into the holiday spirit while enjoying their favourite tunes. It’s all about making sure everyone is included and has the chance to dance the afternoon away!
To keep the festive buzz alive, our wonderful Year 7 form tutor, Saffron, along with our dedicated Year 7 teaching assistant, Karen, are on hand with more details regarding the planning. They are excited about the plans and will ensure the event runs smoothly.
You can expect an electrifying atmosphere filled with lights, loud music, and, most importantly, a whole lot of fun! So, mark your calendars, dust off those dancing shoes, and get ready to celebrate the festive season in style. This is shaping up to be an event filled with joy, laughter, and new memories for our school community. It’s all hands on deck as we gear up for what promises to be a fantastic festive fiesta!
