It brings me immense joy to share some delightful news that showcases the spirit of giving. This year, our children at Woolston Brook School have been completely overjoyed thanks to the kindness of Garry Welding from Black Pug LTD, who has generously donated a whopping 90 selection boxes. How amazing is that!
This initiative was brilliantly organised by none other than our dedicated Assistant Headteacher for Behaviour and Welfare, AnnaMarie Ellis. AnnaMarie has been instrumental in fostering this connection between our school and Black Pug LTD, and her efforts have truly paid off this time. She reached out to Garry, who was more than happy to support our school and, most importantly, our children.
You can only imagine the excitement that filled our school when the selection boxes arrived. The children’s faces lit up with pure delight as they discovered the delightful treats tucked inside each box. Every child received a piece of festive cheer, which is particularly special during this time of year when holiday joy is at the forefront.
The act of giving is a cornerstone of our values here at Woolston Brook School and at Black Pug, and initiatives like these help reinforce the importance of community spirit among our students. It teaches them that, just like Garry has done, we can all contribute to making someone’s day brighter. As they enjoy their sweet surprises, we hope they carry with them the joy of giving back and the importance of supporting one another.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Garry Welding and the team at Black Pug LTD for their generous contribution. Your support not only elevates the spirits of our children but also sets a fantastic example of community engagement. It is heartening to see businesses stepping up to make a difference, demonstrating that together we can create an environment of warmth and kindness. With so much negativity in the world, it is heartening to know that there are so many good people ready to lend a hand.
