At Woolston Brook, pupils use Lexia, an engaging online literacy program that supports reading development at every level. Through interactive activities tailored to each pupil's needs, Lexia helps build foundational skills in phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency. Teachers receive real-time data that allows them to provide targeted instruction and celebrate student growth. Lexia empowers pupils to become confident, independent readers while making learning fun and personalised. To keep motivation high, we run weekly and half-termly Lexia competitions, celebrating effort, achievement and progress.
