Lenny, named after the beloved character from John Steinbeck's classic novel "Of Mice and Men," pays homage to the touching themes of friendship and care that resonated with the students. The initiative to acquire these charming guinea pigs was assisted by the generosity of Liam, a teaching assistant primarily based in the primary department. Recognising the positive impact that animals can have on students' social and emotional development, Liam kindly donated a large, comfortable cage to house Lenny and S'mores. His thoughtful contribution demonstrates not only his commitment to fostering a nurturing learning environment but also the collaborative spirit that thrives within our school community.
