Vacancy- 3 x Teaching Assistants - 1 Year Fixed Term
Woolston Brook is a small, specialist school for children and young people aged 7-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The school provides an inclusive environment where all learners are cared for, valued and respected. Woolston Brook School is seeking to appoint 3 Classroom Teaching Assistants on a 1 year fixed term basis to join our wonderful team. 2 of these positions are at 33.5 hours and 1 is at 35 hours.
Job Title- Teaching Assistant- 1 Year Fixed Term
Grade- Grade 5, SCP 8-14
Responsible To- Assistant Headteacher
Hours of Duty- 33.5 or 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 inset days
Scope Of The Job
- To work under the guidance of the Assistant Headteacher
- To implement agreed programmes of work with individuals, in or out of the classroom.
- Subject to agreement of arrangements, staff may also supervise whole classes occasionally in the short-term absence of teachers, with a primary focus of maintaining good order and keeping learners on task.

Vacancy- Inclusion Support Worker - 1 Year Fixed Term

Woolston Brook School is seeking to appoint an Inclusion Support Worker on a 1 year fixed term basis to join our wonderful team.
Job Title: Inclusion Support Worker
Grade: Grade 6 (SCP 15–22) Actual salary pro rata for term-time working
Reporting to: Assistant Headteacher (Attendance, Behaviour and Welfare)
Contract Type: 1 Year Fixed Term Contract
Hours: 37 hours per week, term time plus 5 INSET days
Main Purpose of the Role
The Inclusion Support Worker will provide targeted inclusion, pastoral, outreach and academic support to pupils and families to ensure:
• Improved attendance, engagement and participation in education.
• Effective support for pupils with SEMH, Autism and additional SEND needs.
• Positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and attitudes to learning.
• Improved academic engagement and progress through personalised tuition delivered in school, within the community and, where appropriate, in pupils' homes.
• Successful reintegration into school following periods of absence, exclusion, emotionally based school avoidance or placement instability.
• Strong partnerships between school, families, external agencies and the wider community.
• A safe, inclusive and supportive environment where all pupils can thrive.
