Vacancy- 2 x Outreach Support Worker Posts
Woolston Brook School is seeking to appoint 2 Outreach Support Workers- one permanent and one 1 year fixed term.
Reports to: Headteacher
Salary: Grade 6 SCP 15-22. Actual salary- £25,026 - £28,089
Hours of Duty: 37 hours per week. Term time only plus 5 inset days
Contract type: Permanent

Job purpose
Under the instruction and guidance of the SLT, and in accordance with individual risk assessments, support the school in working with individuals and groups of children who are experiencing social, emotional and mental health difficulties, through the delivery of targeted tuition, intervention and support programmes.
Provide outreach support for pupils who are presenting with behaviour that challenges, poor attendance and/or are at risk of exclusion / criminal or sexual exploitation.
Provide an effective link between the school, families and the local community.
