Woolston Brook School would like to say a special thank you to Volvo Cars located in Warrington for their incredible contributions to our Christmas raffle. Their generosity has truly made a difference, and we couldn't be more grateful!

First up on the list of exciting prizes is an amazing remote-control car, valued at £80. Just imagine the delight on a child’s face when they unwrap this fantastic gift! We can already visualise the thrill as they zoom it around the playground, racing against their friends and showing off their new prized possession. It’s not just any old toy; it's potential for hours of outdoor fun, which embodies the spirit of Christmas - the joy of giving and sharing experiences with one another.

But wait, there’s more! Volvo Cars has also generously donated a glow-in-the-dark football, along with several other prizes that bring the total value of these contributions to over £100. How incredible is that? The glow-in-the-dark football is certain to be a hit, especially for those brisk winter evenings. We can hardly wait to see our keen footballers taking to the field, the glow illuminating their play as they chase after the ball. It’s a clever reminder of how creativity and fun can intertwine, making ordinary moments feel extraordinary.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the tireless efforts of Jo Flanagan, our dedicated Humanities and PSHE lead. Jo has been instrumental in reaching out to Volvo and fostering this fantastic connection with our school. A heartfelt thank you is due to Jo for her initiative and commitment to enhancing the experience of our pupils. The work she does behind the scenes often goes unnoticed, but we appreciate her invaluable contribution to our community!
